The Unlocking Cornish Potential programme helps local companies find and employ the best qualified graduates. It can also provide valuable advice on a range of human resource issues, including interviewing, training, appraisals and contracts.
The Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP) team can help you identify your staffing needs and employ the most suitable graduates.
It offers you access to up to 12 days of business skills training for newly employed graduates, covering areas such as project management, marketing, teamwork, leadership and time management. An expert mentor supports graduates for six to 12 months, ensuring they add maximum value to your business. You may also be eligible for financial assistance towards the graduate’s salary.
On average, Cornish businesses employing a UCP graduate gain estimated additional turnover of nearly £130,000 in the first twelve months.
